Naturally Reka: Baby O @ 2 Month

Yesterday Baby O turned 2 months. She's so interactive and fun now. She loves watching and grabbing at Glowy her Gloworm and her crinkly-winged bug rattle thingy. She likes punching Tate the Tiger in the nose. She smiles at her team of toys (Glowy, Tate, and Bug), although she doesn't really show interest in her other stuffed animals yet. She absolutely loves smiling and chuckling at mommy and daddy. Every morning when mommy says "Good morning," baby O gets the biggest smile on her face! When daddy comes home from work, Baby O knows it's time to play on his lap, and that's usually when she chuckles. She loves staring at the ceiling fan and any source of light, and she's getting a lot better at tummy time.

She showed off her head lifting skills at the doctor's office and the doctor was quite impressed with the neck control. The doctor said Baby O is growing beautifully and hitting her milestones. She's only in the 10th percentile for weight, but at 1 month she was only in the 5th percentile. So she's definitely growing! Her head circumference is in the 25th percentile. She got that big head from her mommy lol. She did great with her shots and so did mommy. Everyone was most worried about me since I'm so freaking sensitive. Daddy held down her arms, 1nurse had her legs, I held the paci, and another nurse gave the shots. She did cry some, but she was hungry. After she ate she gave mommy and daddy a huge grin. I think that Tylenol they gave her made her a bit tipsy because she just played with her tongue, smiled, and looked around quietly after the shots. Totally not what I expected.

Weight: 9lbs 2oz (still a peanut lol)
Length: 24in (pretty darn tall)
Head Circumference: 15.5cm (big head = big brain)

Since I wasn't blogging then, here's the 1 month stats (3 days before her 1 month bday) and pics:
